How to Change Your myStevens Password
Note: Changing your password affects logging into myStevens, Stevens email, Microsoft 365 services, VPN, the Stevens wireless networks, and all other services that use your Stevens username/email and password.
If you know your current password, you can change it by signing into the Account Self-Service portal at stevens.edu/myaccount.
- Log in using your current myStevens username and password.

- Authenticate the Duo multi-factor prompt. If you do not see the Duo screen below, please ensure you have Duo Multi-Factor Authentication set up for your account.

Note: If this is your first time changing your password through the User Account Self-Service Portal, you may be prompted to set up security questions.
-
If you are not automatically brought to the page, click My Accounts in the upper-left corner. Then, enter your current password where indicated and click Next.

-
Enter a new password. Ensure your new password meets all of the requirements specified in the table on the right. If your password does not satisfy those requirements, you will receive an error message stating your password has not changed, and you should try again.

-
Click Reset Password when complete. Your password has now successfully been changed across all services using your Stevens username/email address and password.
