Appointments, Meetings and Calendars Information

The most current version of Microsoft Outlook for PC, MAC and mobile devices will provide the most robust and reliable calendaring experience. You can schedule appointments, meetings, holidays and other important events in your Outlook calendar and access on your computer, Outlook online, and on your mobile device in the Outlook app.

Appointments are scheduled blocks of time that only involve you. You can use an appointment to block out hours on your schedule.

(ex. Lunch, dentist appointment, study period in library)

Meetings are used to reserve time not only on your calendar, but also on the calendar of your friends, advisors and instructors. You can also add the location and agenda so that everyone knows where to meet whether in-person or online, and what will be discussed.

(ex. Team project meeting; meeting with career counselor)

Events are activities that last up to 24 hours or longer on your calendar.

(ex. Winter holiday break; Semester Finals; Graduation Day)
