Wireless Overview


 

The Stevens Wireless Network consists of two wireless networks broadcast throughout campus, both indoors and outdoors. Stevens is currently running a g-network.

  • Stevens - Student , faculty and staff wireless network.
  • Stevens Guest - Unencrypted guest network which requires https based authentication.

The primary network Stevens uses your Stevens username and password to authenticate.

The following devices are not officially supported by Information Technology. While we attempt to provide assistance and support for these devices to the best of our ability, we can not guarantee compatibility and support with our wireless networks. The following documentation is provided as a reference only.

Guests at Stevens

Stevens provides a wireless network for guests who visit the Stevens Campus. For information on how you can be registered to access the Stevens Guest Network, please visit Register Stevens Guest wireless account.

Gaming Consoles and Entertainment Devices

The major game consoles and entertainment devices do not support Stevens Network Authentication. However these devices can be registered via the Stevens Macreg page. Wireless devices after being registered can connect to the network ssid Stevens Media. Please folllow the respective guide to register the your device's MAC address on wired or wireless.
